Real Feel Golf Mats

Real Feel Golf Mats Country Club Elite (CCE) Real Feel Golf Mat

Centerpiece

$479 list

Tee: real wooden tee anywhere
Base: one piece, no assembly, sits directly on concrete; can live outdoors (a Phoenix owner leaves one outside most of the year)
Size: 4 x 5 at $479; 5 x 5 about $599; 5 x 8 $959; 5 x 10 $1,199 (Rain or Shine configurator; Top Shelf lists the same)
Tier: core

It is the mat people buy first because it looks and tees like a range mat and costs half as much. The forums are full of the second purchase.

SIGPRO (Shop Indoor Golf)

SIGPRO (Shop Indoor Golf) SIGPRO Softy 4' x 7' Golf Mat

Tee: real tee anywhere on the Softy insert; Preferred insert (+$119.99) takes a real tee; 3D insert (+$159.99) does not
Base: soft foam backing, thin ABS polyurethane layer, three compression slots
Size: 4 ft deep x 7 ft wide (strip centered, 24 in from front edge to strip center)
Tier: core

It is the mat people land on after their elbow starts to hurt. Nobody on the forums says it is the most realistic, but almost everyone says it is the one they would recommend to a friend who does not want to think about it.

TrueStrike

TrueStrike TrueStrike Academy (and Single) Golf Mat

Tee: tee receiver with 25 long and 25 short tees; any tee height
Base: interlocking plastic teeth and trim pieces; tool-free but fiddly and leaves seams
Size: Academy 52 x 80 in (about 4.3 x 6.7 ft), 2 3/8 in tall, 134 lb, $1,248 at Shop Indoor Golf (out of stock, no ship date) and £665 direct from truestrike.com (UK); Single $1,098 at Rain or Shine (backordered, 16 reviews 4.6); Hitting The Golf Ball lists the Single at 112 lb
Tier: core

The 2019 Golf Simulator Forum thread is still the reference: TrueStrike owners say soft on wrists and elbows, Fiberbuilt owners say forgiving, and both groups left a CCE. People choose it for the gel.

Tier: core

Rain or Shine built it as the middle ground between a CCE and a Fiberbuilt, and the forum thread where the co-owner asked for size suggestions is still how people describe it: less fluffy than Fiberbuilt, less hard than CCE.

Tee: adjustable rubber tees
Base: thin rubber; the standard size slides, the XL is more stable

Tee: real tee
Base: Montreal-made by a driving-range mat maker; sold through local dealers; no US product page found
Size: 12 x 24, 12 x 46.5 in strips (about $140 USD, $189 CAD, for the 46.5 in from a Canadian dealer in 2023) and a 5 x 5 Champion mat with Bullseye strip ($450 direct in 2023; Yardstick lists $850 for a 5 x 5 in 2026)
Tier: qualified

A sub-$400 builder on the forum bought the 5 x 5 at $450 and wrote back: it's perfect. Divot feel with a real tee for less than the big names, if you can find a dealer.

Rukket Sports

Rukket Sports Rukket Tri-Turf Golf Hitting Mat (and Tri-Turf XL)

Tee: adjustable rubber tees
Base: thin rubber; the standard size slides, the XL is more stable
Note: rukket.com returned 404 on 2026-10-19 and the Amazon page blocks scripted price reads; Walmart price recorded instead. Lifetime guarantee claimed by Golf Influence.
Size: standard 25 x 16 in (40 x 62 cm) with 16 mm fairway, 35 mm rough and 35 mm tee turf over a 2 mm rubber base; XL 36 x 24 in with a thicker base; Attack bundle adds tees and foam balls

It is the mat in the Rukket net bundle, so it ends up in thousands of garages by default. MyGolfSpy leans XL over regular because size keeps it from sliding.
